    5. This was a fun book about Stitch Head, a long-forgotten creation of a mad scientist. Stitch Head stays around the castle to make sure his master's creations don't go wild in the nearby town and bring punishment down on his master. After years of working behind the scenes, Stitch Head is pushed into a situation where the "no visitors" rule is thrown to the wind.Stitch Head, for starters, is simply adorable. The illustrations in the book are perfect to set up the quirky atmosphere, and we have vil [...]

    7. First Impression:The cover is just the cutest. Stitch Head looks like such a sad little guy.The illustrations inside are gorgeous! They are on every page and sometimes take up a full spread with text over the top. They add so much to the story.Since this was a hard cover I loved the feel of it, so smooth and the pages a nice weight. It was fun to read as a book rather than on a kindleThe Story: Stitch Head was created by a Mad Professor who promised they would be friends forever but when the pro [...]

    14. Stitch Head is a book set in the castle Grotteskew where a mad professor spends his days creating scary monsters, each more horrid then the last. The problem is that once he creates a monster he forgets about it and starts making another one, even more disgusting. So what happens to these monsters? Well a small, childlike, monster called Stitch Head stops the monsters from rampaging and destroying the nearby towns using his bag of ‘special’ potions.’ The monsters then calm down and join (w [...]

    15. Stitch Head Back cover desc: In Castle Grotteskew something big is about to happen to someone small. Join a mad professor's forgotten creation as he steps out of the shadows into the adventure of an almost lifetime. . . One of the best children's books I have read in a while & I look forward to it's official USA publication. The illustrations and humorous interactions among zany characters intertwine to make a wonderfully magic story for both children & adults. I'm not going lie I loved [...]

    18. In an old castle named Grotteskew, just outside the quaint town of Grubbers Nubbin, the mad Doctor Erasmus brings to life freaky experiments, each one bigger and more sinister than the last. Stitch Head, the Doctor’s very first creation waits in the shadows to give a special potion to the creatures once they awaken, so they don’t run rampant and take over the town, harming innocent people. More than anything, Stitch Head wants the Doctor to remember him — remember the friendship they once [...]

    19. Stitch Head, written by Guy Bass and illustrated by Pete Williamson is a children's book very different from many others. The story follows Stitch Head, the creation of a mad scientist, that does his best to protect his creator while preventing his other creations from causing destruction or being noticed by those he protects. When a traveling circus that has lost its ability to scare and amaze comes to town, Stitch Head's almost-life is put in jeopardy, as is the well-being of the professor and [...]

    20. When I first picked up this book and started to read I thought, ' This just screams to be read out loud!' So, I did! The children and I got to know little Stitch Head together, the delightful, shy & clever, first creation of Erasmus, the mad professor. We meet Stitch as he gives a curative potion to a man eating creature, the latest in a long line of the mad prof's creature creations. Creature, cured and brought to his senses, declares that he and Stitch Head would be 'bestest' friends! We f [...]

    21. I've been very curious about the popularity of monsters and scary themes in children's books lately. My daughter is really into them, so we've read a lot of spooky books together lately. Stitch Head is one of the better ones that we've read. The chapters are short and peppered with plenty of illustrations. The evil villain is deceptive and charming, making all sorts of promises he has no intention of keeping. Stitch Head is sweet and overly trusting because he has virtually no experience with an [...]

23. A darkly humorous and witty exploration of the adage "Don't judge people by their appearances"; Stitch Head is a gem of a book.Perfect for the under tens, and to honest those over it as well, it's a sharply observed story that flips cliche and stereotype on its head. The eponymous Stitch Head is the first creation of the mad professor of Castle Grotteskew. The professor made Stitch Head (the cutest monster ever!) and continued to make monsters who all woke up full of rage. Think Frankenstein mee [...]

    24. Funky, funny and engaging, Stitch Head is the story of a forgotten but extremely loyal creation of a young mad scientist. The little "monster" is named Stitch Head due to the peculiar appearance of his head; it's all stitched together with thick, black stitches. While he was once a young mad scientist's best friend, events occurred that left Stitch Head alone and discarded while the mad scientist, Erasmus, went on to create increasingly massive and terrifying monsters. Which actually end up not [...]

Stitch Head makes it his job to use potions on the scientist’s evil creatures to transform them into more friendly beings. His goal is to have a castle where they can all live together in peace. 29. This is a really cute Frankenstein-inspired series about Stickan (or Stich Head in English). He was the first creation his master, the mad scientist, ever made. But the scientist became obsessed with creating better and scarier monsters and forgot about poor Stickan. It took me a while to get through this book, I didn't really connect with the characters and it wasn't that difficult to put the book down and read something else. However, I would still recommend it, especially for reading aloud. T [...]
