Even though I know the end, the process Herod had to go through is interesting.I can't say I agree with all the assumptions of the author as to the thought process of the various characters, but they are interesting to follow.The end is very weak, maybe due to the fact that it may have been written by the author's wife after his death, or maybe he never really finished editing.All together a worthwhile book for anyone interested in the period, and putting flesh or rather thoughts to some very in [...]
