    About Kerrianne Coombes

    1. Kerrianne Coombes is the youngest of three siblings Born in England in 19 Cough cough Books became very important to her at a very early age Having a book obsessed mum, made finding all the greats, like Emma and Pride and Prejudice and, of course, Anne of Green Gables natural for her to read The entire idea of being whipped into a new world, a new life was greatly appealing to a little girl who had far too much imagination to know what to do with.Being the kid with braces, frizzy hair and awkward laugh, Kerrianne found she could be who she wanted to be as soon as she picked up a book. After leaving school, she worked a groom with horses Later, the lure of working in a dry, warm office yanked her away from the farms and the open air But she never found a job that suited her as well as being a groom.Though writing was something Kerrianne only started seriously after she had her babies, she has always written little stories and little poems these were written as a therapy when she needed to clear her mind, and usually, they were written at the office when she was supposed to be doing something mundane.

    1. While an avid lover of the paranormal genre, I would not describe myself as a fan of fairy tales, so Rapunzel was an exciting and pleasant surprise! The author captured my attention from the very first chapter, with her easy, fluid style of writing and the gripping and emotional story content.I am always a sucker for a tortured soul and Blane most definitely falls into this category. With his fractured past, heartbreaking guilt and lack of self-worth, he is determined to honour a death bed promis [...]

    2. When I started this book, I thought it was going to be about a prince saving Rapunzel from a bad group of demons. I was totally wrong, it is a lot more than that. The universe of fairy tales is recreated to carry bad and good demon characters. Rapunzel and the other girls are not just your average damsels in distress, they have their own particular way of seeing the world. This was a quick and easy read and it was really enjoyable. I liked how events came one after the others and how the plot un [...]

    3. Hot, Heart-wrenching, Magical!! I received this book in exchange for an honest review. Let me just start off by saying this has become one of my favorite books. I in fact read it twice and have also purchased the rest of Kerrianne's Demon Tales books. This author's writing now has a special place in my heart. Kerrianne Coombes does not just put words on paper but gives such detail in her writing that you feel as if you can see and feel what is happening in the book.Blane is not your usual hero. [...]

    4. This is the fourth book in the Demon Tales series by Ms Coombes, about demons loaded with sex appeal, brawn, and especially, heart - something one wouldn't associate with a demon.Blane cannot forgive himself for the death of his family, especially his mother. Chloe, an iron fey, feels she isn't worthy of anyone's love, thinking herself weak. Both feel unworthy of finding happiness, both drawn together by circumstances. Both entwined by destiny.Ms Coombes as always has a unique way of retelling cl [...]

    5. Lucee Lovett’s review of Repunzel by Kerrianne Coombes.Rapunzel by Kerrianne Coombes is not like any fairy tale I remember. It’s so much more. I was expecting to escape into that fantasy world of ‘once upon a time’ a derivative to the theme. How wrong was I? This fantasy story is an erotic adventure filled with mystical creatures that are attractive, well some of them anyway, and interesting. It begins with an adventure that takes you through the transformation of a girl/woman who was tr [...]

    6. This was a splurg purchase since I have been in a book reading slump and thought something fast and entertaining would be a catalyst. This was a fun and interesting read. I really enjoyed it, had wonderful elements of growth, love and acceptance. The main male character Blane was swoon worthy and had a depth to him that was surprising. While Chloe was an unexpected character that you really root for in the end.My only critism and its really not a huge critisim was the way they spoke, I am not sur [...]

Chloe a little iron fairy who can read metal are thrown together in a tower . They are thrown together and as their escape . They fight feelings and demons . Blane pushes her away because she is is mate . This makes Chloe stronger as she fights . This is a great paranormal romance with a fairy take feel to it . The rollercoaster [...]

    8. This wasn't the type of book I normally read, but I must say I absolutely loved it. Blane was one of the best characters I've ever read about. The way Mrs. Coombes weaved his physical strength into a web of inner turmoil was breathtaking. I felt every bit of his agony. Chloe was came off as a bit clueless at times, but given her life and what she had been through, it was understandable. The way her strength broke through throughout the story had me cheering her on. This book completely blew my m [...]

    9. This book was so awesome! A bit dark but that's exactly what I've been searching for lately. I was a little bit annoyed with how faint hearted the h was at times, but it seemed that the H agreed with me :P I also understand why she was so faint hearted at those moments but it didn't stop me from wanting to shake her! Spoiler alert for those of you that need to know if there are certain scenes in books-(view spoiler)[There is a brief attempted rape scene as well as allusion to previous possible r [...]

    10. Rapunzel is book four in this series, but I had no problem following the storyline, It can definitely be read as a stand alone. I loved Rapunzel! The characters were wonderful and very emotionally diverse. Chloe is an unbelievably strong heroine, who's destined mate mistakes her quiet strength for weakness.Blane is physically strong, but has a past that has damaged his sense of self worth. Watching these two discover each other and the healing power of love made for a wonderful read.I laughed, I [...]

    11. I was torn between giving this 3 or 4 stars, then opted for 4 since it did hold my interest and I read it in one sitting. I enjoyed the characters and truly felt the instant attraction between the hero and heroine. The types of characters were out of my normal scope of reading but I'm glad I gave this book a chance. There is some minor editing issues as well as phrases that were continuously repeated, which caused me to pause and really consider finishing the book. I think more meat could have b [...]

    14. Kerrianne Coombes gives us a new spin on the common fairytale, Rapunzel, with this story. Full of magic, demons, and fairies, this book brings "fairytale" to a whole new level. Blane is part Rain Demon, meaning he has this strange urge to help people. After the brutal death of his family and a promise to his mother to find a magical key, Blane lives a life full of adventure and danger. That all gets put on hold the moment he gets caught by the Vulcan Demons and meets Chloe, a Fey with LONG iron [...]

    15. Final feeling: gave up at 80%Pretty much everything about this book I didn't like: the alpha male who acted like an selfish animal; the weak, whiny, helpless female who kept apologizing; the overuse of the f-word; etc. etc. Ugh. I gave up after they had sex and he immediately started swearing at her afterwards. No thank you.
