    1. As always a spectacular book by Lucy Monroe. In it we are taken to the modern world in her Children of the Moon series. In it we are introduced to Frankie and Ty. Frankie has loved Ty ever since she can remember. She compares all men to him and finds them lacking, but she is headed home to try to find out once and for all if she can make it work with him.Ty finds it incredibly hard to resist Frankie. But as a werewolf he has made up his mind to mate only with his kind. He has seen what happens w [...]

    2. Contemporary paranormal with wolf shapeshifters. Unprotected sex. This story is one of the few LMs I just didn't like. I really am disgusted with male leads (NOT heros) who push the heroine away one minute, then get jealous when some other guy who would probably treat her better moves in on her. Ty has been leading on his "best friend" Frankie since they were teenagers. She's tried to tell him about her feelings previously, but was rejected. She tried moving on & was even engaged, but broke [...]

    3. I got this book as part of giveaway. I love shapeshifter stories so I give it a chance.Dont have much to say just that this one was not bad story. But I wished Ty paid someway for his hurtful words. Especially after their mating. I literally felt how he ripped Frankies heart with each word that slipped his lips. Ty was too stuborn mule. I wanted that she have kicked his a*s some. Ty get to easy out of it. And Frankie was forgiving too easily after 10 years of rejection. Like said stuborn mule.Th [...]

    5. While reading this I felt like I’d read it before. After doing some research I discovered I had in an anthology called Unleashed. Doesn’t matter since I loved it just as much the second time. This is my review from the time.A beautiful, original storyline. Very interesting detailed explanations of werewolf life, but Ty needs to learn how to express himself better. I cried and cried. His family is interesting. I’m thinking about adding this series to my TBR list now (which obviously I did a [...]

    6. Children of the Moonrise series is destined to be "keepers" A beautiful story of a very independent and strong woman and the man she has loved since childhood who believes his love and life are destined to be shared with someone else because they are different! Ms. Monroe's talent in making the dialogue and characters leap to life hold you riveted to her books long after you should be sleeping! Always one more chapterjust one more chapter!!

    7. Have read before, sorry, but felt it did not have a good connection to previous books in series, this story takes place in the present time, but was not easily connected to the previous books that were written about the past history of this pack, an inclusion of an ancestor’s name would have helped.
