    1. Sweet common senseThis was quite short ,lots of common sense and some practical steps . It would seem there are extras on a website and a free e-book. Personally I would have proffered it all in one place , but the style is friendly and the principles basic so would be great for others, and by no means wasted on me.

    3. This book is fairly well written and concise. However, it doesn't have much to say that isn't said better in other books about breaking and forming habits. It just felt like a re-packaging of other information rather than a unique take on the topic. I didn't like how the author was making serious life changes sound so simple. Quitting smoking, losing weight, getting up a 5 AM every morning to go to the gym are for him minor obstacles to overcome by simply switching habit triggers. It was a littl [...]

    4. I was unimpressed with this book. While most of the advice was fair, it was unoriginal and presented in a way that suggested that its only hypotheses were based purely on the personal experience of the author, rather than exploring more general philosophical, psychological or scientific approaches. The editing also wasn't great - there are a couple of spelling mistakes, and at one point there's a single word hanging from a paragraph that takes up a whole page to itself! Not great on the whole.
