    2. This is a tricky read aloud with the inclusion of Spanish. It has a cute premise, but it doesn't flow easily as a read aloud. My class was mixed on this one, but the pictures are very nice to look at.

    3. This book is a great Halloween story about an old armadillo sitting inside his house on Halloween while his friends are out trick-or-treating. It consists of several Spanish words that would be good for incorporating into a Spanish lesson.This is a good book for second-fourth graders because of its Spanish vocabulary and its well-written story and plot. I could incorporate this on the day of the students' Halloween party, with a Spanish lesson, or even with a Social Studies lesson that discussed [...]
